This is not a conversation between a doctor and a layman, but between two doctors. It is sad that the public knows who a cardiologist or a neurologist or a vascular surgeon is, but has little idea who a family physician or a family medicine specialist is. What is even worse is that, our colleagues from other specialities are also ignorant of this much needed branch of medicine.
